Residents of Brookside, which speakers put at about 100 people, and George Street asked that Sunday operation be removed.
A speaker who said he paid $4.2 million in cash for the property and more than $500,000 for studies said weekend work is needed at certain times of year. He and others noted the use is allowed by right in the CB district and that Plainville has no noise ordinance. No vote was recorded.
