Select Board approves April 6 election warrant with early voting

PLAINVILLE — Select Board advances April 6 election with early-voting approval. The board unanimously signed the town election warrant setting the annual vote for April 6, 2026, and unanimously approved in-person early voting for March 30 through April 2 on recommendation from the Board of Registrars. Early voting hours are 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Monday March 30, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday March 31-April 2. The board also unanimously approved two change orders for the water treatment plant project totaling $48,581, including valve and fitting upgrades to the pressure reduction vault and chlorine contact tank isolation valves.
In separate action, the board unanimously granted a liquor license transfer for House of Fortune restaurant to new owners Future Eatery, Inc., with owners Yanjuan Chen and Sheng Xu.
