Plainville ZBA Approves Parking Exception for Attleboro Enterprises at 300 South

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of January 20, 2026

Plainville Zoning Board approves parking waiver for disability services nonprofit at 300 South Street. Attleboro Enterprises Inc., which educates and trains adults with disabilities, received unanimous approval from the board to operate with 51 parking spaces instead of the required 60, under Section 500-16(E) of the zoning bylaw. The application was represented by Nic Facendola and Katie van Hamel.

In a related matter, the board continued a variance hearing for 16 Fales Road to February 17 after substantial community opposition; the applicant seeks frontage and lot-width variances to build a single-family house, barn, and horse paddock, and the board sought Town Counsel guidance on whether the hardship is self-created.
