Plainville Park Commissioners approve director raise and advance field redesign

Plainville park commissioners unanimously approve director raise and advance revised field redesign plan. Park Director John Teiner will receive a 2 percent raise, and the commissioners advanced the revised Field of Dreams Phase 2 site plan, which adds 92 parking spaces by relocating the lot and defers two little league baseball fields to Phase 3. A Planning Board public hearing is scheduled for March 2.
The commissioners also authorized Spirit of Plainville to hold Country Fest concert and fireworks on August 22, Easter Egg Hunt on April 4, and Patriotic Wagon Parade on July 4, pending location details.
