Plainville boards consider proposal for temporary World Cup housing at stadium site. Five municipal boards held an informational session on Hatch Materials' plan to place wheel campers at 80-82 Washington Street to accommodate approximately 1,700 World Cup attendees during games at Foxboro, scheduled June 13 through July 9, 2026. The applicant, represented by Jared Hatch, attorney Michael Levinson, and engineer Nick Kelling, proposes shuttling guests to the stadium and including a soccer field on the site.
Board members questioned traffic impacts, utility capacity, safety, site development, zoning compliance, and emergency response procedures.
