Plainville advances three zoning amendments toward Town Meeting vote

Plainville Planning Board recommends three zoning amendments to Town Meeting. The board approved amendments to the Lot Requirements (modifying rear setback exceptions), the Town Center District (adding design guidelines with the Planning Board as design review authority), and the Senior Village Overlay (removing square footage caps). The Senior Village amendment passed 4-1 with member Stanley Widak opposed.
The board continued hearings on the Use Regulation Schedule amendment and The Regency at Heather Hill site plan to March 30 to address stormwater, sidewalks, and food truck regulations pending Board of Health guidance.
