Finance Committee reviews school budgets without formal votes

Plainville Finance Committee convenes to review budgets from three regional school systems. The Finance Committee heard presentations from King Philip Regional School District Superintendent Dr. Rich Drolet, Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical School, and Plainville Superintendent Jennifer Parson on March 3, with school liaison Chris Brenneis providing an update.
Chair Mark Johnson, members Nicholas Sammarco, David Rabinovitz, and Carol Lerch were present; Richard Comeau was absent. The committee recorded no formal votes on any budget proposals. A motion to rescind approval of the January 27 meeting minutes passed unanimously.
