Conservation Commission approves Police Station mixed-use permit

Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 10, 2026

Plainville approves 26-unit Police Station mixed-use development with conservation permit. The Conservation Commission voted 6-0 to issue the permit to Hellas Ventures LLC at 157 South Street for the former Police and Fire station. The commission separately advanced proposed dock-construction regulations for lakes and ponds, responding to a 2025 violation on Lake Mirimichi, a water reserve for the City of Attleboro.

The regulations, developed with state DEP and town counsel K.P. Law, were continued to February 24 for resident input.
