Board of Assessors approves abatements, welcomes new member

PLAINVILLE — Board of Assessors approves $31,734 in abatements in spring meeting. The Plainville Board of Assessors unanimously accepted motor vehicle excise tax abatements and real estate and personal property abatements totaling $31,734.48 at its April 21 meeting. The board welcomed Charles Smith as its newest member and formally recognized Shannon Mackenzie for her years of service to the board and town.
Finance Director commitments and Tax Collector warrants were also accepted unanimously.
